5-Field Syntax
Fast validation and parsing of minutes, hours, days of the month, months, and days of the week.
Cron is a classic job scheduler in Unix-like operating systems that automatically executes commands, scripts, and background processes according to a defined schedule. The name originates from the Greek word 'chronos' (time).
A cron schedule is defined by a 5-field string separated by spaces: minutes (0-59), hours (0-23), day of the month (1-31), month (1-12 or JAN-DEC), and day of the week (0-6, where 0 is Sunday, or SUN-SAT). Each field specifies the exact time slots when the task must run.
Special characters are supported: asterisk (*) means any value ('every minute', 'every hour'), comma (,) separates a list of values (e.g. 1,15,30), hyphen (-) defines a range (e.g. 1-5: Monday through Friday), and slash (/) defines step intervals (e.g. */15: every 15 time units).
This tool allows you to enter a cron expression, apply ready templates, and immediately calculate the next 10 run dates in a convenient table view.
Everything you need to configure and verify schedules:
Fast validation and parsing of minutes, hours, days of the month, months, and days of the week.
Quick selection of standard intervals: every minute, hourly, weekdays, or monthly.
Accurate calculation and preview table of the next 10 task trigger dates.
